Hardware Research and Development Engineer
A current Masters of Applied bioengineering student, with a B.S. in Biology from California State University of San Marcos. With her background in medicine, she aims to bridge the gap between engineers and physicians.

Cynthia Sainz
Hardware Research and Development Engineer
A current Masters of Applied Bioengineering student, with a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. With her background in research and CAD development, her goal is to develop medical devices that make healthcare more accessible.

Justus Brown
Software Research Engineer
A current Masters of Applied Bioengineering student, with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington. He hopes to leverage his background in healthcare and software development to find new ways to treat disease.

Machine Learning Engineer
A current Oceanography undergraduate student at the University of Washington specializing in Machine Learning. Hoping to build fast, simple and intuitive ML applications for the team.

Dr. Leotta provides expertise in ultrasound technology and biomedical imaging, guiding our team through key design and implementation phases to refine the system’s technical approach.
Dr. Sharam Aarabi, MD, MPH
Vascular Surgeon at UCSF
Dr. Aarabi conducts research in vascular trauma care and ultrasound applications in resource-limited settings. He also supports our team in dataset acquisition for machine learning, ensuring the integration of high-quality data for model development.
Dr. Rupak Rajachar, Ph.D.
MAB Program Director at the University of Washington
With experience in biomaterials and medical device development, Dr. Rajachar advises on research, design, and business strategy, helping bridge the gap between technical development and real-world application.
